More about food

Ok, let's have an honest discussion about McDonald's.

I hate McDonald's! Or so I thought...I am beginning to question my reality because I keep seeming to go back there...

I hate to use my disease as an exuse, but it is hard for me to eat! Going to McDonald's, I know I can get a burger minus panne and fries. Not to mention, when you are always on the go...stopping for a full meal either doesn't happen or is too expensive.

Yesterday, I went to McDonald's three times. The first time Lauren and I bought fruit and salads from the train station in La Spezia (that's not so bad!). The second time all three of us got large fries because we had just arrived in Roma and simply needed something to tie us over until dinner. The third time happened when we realized that we wouldn't be going to dinner. However, Lauren and Courtney would be able to eat free pizza during the Spanish Steps Pub Crawl...so I had to grab the only thing I could--McDonald's!!!

This morning...where did the three of us very hungover ladies head?!?! Take a wild guess---MCDONALD'S! LOL

In fact, we just had to go eat gelato and drink pop while waiting for McDonald's to open as it was only 10:30am and apparently they don't open until 11:00am here.

My body hates me and my stomach is grows a little more (well actually, a lot more) each day to remind me of just exactly what I put in my mouth...

I'd like to say that I won't be going back there, but I will. I just really want to make a supreme effort to not go 3x in a day!!!

PS: I love seafood now!!! In Cinque Terre, I could not get enough muscles, swordfish, and shrimp. I first starting really trying different seafood in Napoli and loved it. I am so grateful that I am finally appreciating and truley enjoying seafood---can't believe I wasn't much of a fan before!

  1. HAHAHA! You ARE on a seafood diet. See food, eat it! Seafood, eat it. Don't stress out over your teensy weensy tummy - you can totally get back to your tiny kitty status when you get back. Enjoy. Can't wait for you to get back! Do you want to go bike-camping in early April for one night? We can share a tent and Jesse will carry our stuff and we'll just ride 22 miles. Ty, Richard and Cato will be going too. = )

  2. Hi Tiny Tiny !! I love the fact that you like seafood now - it's always been my fav probably because of growing up on the coast. Continue on the cheese Tiny Tiny because when you get back you won't be able to get the same quality here. Bro Chuck went thru that. We miss you a ton. I hope this posts because most of my others haven't. We are counting the days until you are back!!! TTK2
