Day One Milano Pictures

Flamingos!

The Duomo

Alberto and my shadows

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele

Sforza Castle

The Couchsurfing night out begins...there were over 30 people who came! Note: My camera was taken over and I took none of the following.

I had originally emailed Filippo (to the left) for a place to stay but Alberto responded first. Jakob (to the right) is a CS Ambassador. He is a fantastic guy helping the couch surfing movement get even bigger!

Ereid and I forget....

Alberto (my host) and me

Apperantly, this is what I do after too many drinks...email! Darian: doesn't gmail have a way of stopping this??? LOL

  1. You are going to have so many friends by the time you get back that it will be a full time job to stay in touch with everyone!
Did Darian tell you that Jenna broke her ankle this morning? She'll live though I think :)

  2. Dear drunken e-mail kitty! We all miss you like crazy. I was at sushi with Darian when Jenna called - she fell down the stairs at work. This morning he told me she'll be in a cast for 3 weeks and will do upper body work for now, then continue her tri training as she gets better. So hopefully her June tri is still on! I've been running a lot, started doing the "hash house harrier" runs and they're a blast. You'll have to join when you get back.

  3. My little pet...thank you for the postcard! The week after you left Ty called me one day and said my page went upstairs. I think I uttered a robust profanity at him. You must be a tiny kitty and have lost weight. And your frame is no doubt stronger. And except for a few million brain cells lost to a drink or two, your brain is smarter and fuller! See you soon......Mrs. Guinn

  4. I love it! Sounds like you are really having an amazing time! I am sure it is very challenging at points, but the beauty in that is with each challenge comes exponential growth. I am in awe, am jealous, am proud and am excited for you for doing this and being so open to the change it already has and will continue to bring to your life. I love you friend and can't wait to sit with you and a bottle of wine and hear ALL your stories!
    Love you
