Amalfi Coast & Last Weekend in Napoli

Spence and I took a ride in his new Jeep to the Amalfi Coast on Saturday. It was awesome! As he had previously promised, we drove through Positano, Sorrento, and Amalfi. We enjoyed cafe, gelato, lemon cello, and even our own little picnic in the car. Of course, the day we end up going it rained pretty much the whole time---but hey, we are both from the NW so we can handle it! Unlike the Italians, who seem to be allergic to the rain and all use umbrellas, we walked around getting soaked with no problem...well maybe Spence whined about his shoes a little bit (LOL). The Amalfi coast really is breathtaking though, gray or not---Im so glad I got to see it!

Without a doutbt, my time with Spencer has given me some of the most fun and fantastic memories of my life (thus far--of course). It wasnt just because of the nights out where we got drunken silly with his awesome friends and I acted as though I litterally owned the bar... it was everything! It was waking up to the most beautiful view from his apartment window. It was falling in love with every inch of his town. It was making some of the most amazing meals together and actually sitting down at a table each night to enjoy them. It was feeling like I couldnt have a care in the world and knowing I could tell him anything. It was fact that he makes me smile even when hes not in the room....

It was all too good in every single aspect that I could never possibly describe it adequatley or accurately here. Therefore, I will say no more on this topic...but rather sum it to say that my time in Napoli warmed my heart in a way that it hasnt been in a long time...and Im grateful for every second! I am so blessed to have Spence in my life, no matter in what capacity it may be.

And now the pics!

It may have been gray and rainy but I still loved it!
