Fraud Alert

My bank decieded to put a fraud alert on my account and shut down my credit and debit card. This isn't very fun when you are in a foreign country, without money, checked out of a hostel, at train station and find yourself leaning against the wall, thinking "what do I do next"?

US Bank confirmed that they had the notes I'd be traveling to Scotland but it's just their policies to shut off accounts when they see railway charges. Really?

Thankfully, I my cards are working again. However, the bank said they won't guarantee it won't happen during my trip. As a prevenative measure, I've pulled out enough cash to carry me on in case they shut them down again.

I have arrived in the highlands of Scotland. I'm staying in the city of Inverness, next to Loch Ness. However, I won't make it to see the Loch Ness Monster---the bank fiasco resulted in my arriving here past 6:00 and I had already booked a 9:00am train tomorrow to Kyle of Lochalsh. There I'll head to the Isle of Skye. I'm off to enjoy the few hours I have here---ciao!
