I’ve been putting off the simplest task of just writing down the list of all the things to do and buy before I go… but for whatever reason, blogging seems like less work so I’m forcing myself to finally write it out on here. This way—just MAYBE, I’ll get my stuff finally done!
To Do:
٭ Change my cell phone plan to the cheapest possible option
٭ Change my voicemail to say “out of country”
٭ Change my car insurance to a garage policy
٭ Find out if my health insurance covers me in Europe, if not, look into buying a policy
٭ Get Dad a list of my passwords, bank accounts, info on the cats, key to my apt
٭ Call the airline and request a gluten-free meal on all flights
٭ Get the plug-in adapter from Dad
٭ Email and print for myself copies of my passport & itinerary
٭ Print a list of the information for the US embassies in every location I plan on going to
٭ Leave checks with Aaron for Feb & March rent
٭ Get my stuff from Bryan’s house
٭ Get my oil changed
٭ Clean out my car
٭ Go to the DMV and apply for a new title
٭ Write out instructions on the boys
٭ Thoroughly clean my room
٭ Finish Jenna’s Christmas Gift
٭ Learn how to use my backpack
٭ Make a tag for my backpackLearn how to say/write “I have Celiacs”, “no gluten”, and “allergic to wheat”
To Buy:
٭ Ipod charger
٭ Small battery powered alarm clock
٭ Canon digital camera, memory card, & case
٭ Good walking shoes
٭ A dress to wear to the opera
٭ Good headphones that go over your ear
٭ Tiny but warm sleeping bag
٭ International phone card
٭ Small but strong flashlight
٭ Thin but warm windproof gloves
٭ Frontline for the boys
٭ Cat tags with Aaron’s cell number on them
٭ Cat litter
٭ Blush & mascara
٭ Black neck warmer
٭ Jeans that I can wear layers under
٭ New beanie hat
٭ A small black purse I can use for going out/going somewhere nice
٭ Extra batteries for everything I’m taking
٭ Lots of chapstick
٭ A lock for my pack
٭ Ear plugs
٭ A poncho
There’s probably more…but writing that stuff down is a start!

Good luck getting all of your "to-do" list done! All of the work will be worth it once you leave for your trip!
