Welcome to my blog!
I will be traveling in Europe from January 22, 2009 - March 6, 2009. Yes, folks, that's right---Jennifer will be soaking up 6 whole weeks of European paradise! WAHOO! :)
In order to keep everyone updated, I’ve created this blog to document my travels, wild adventures, new experiences and inspiring moments. It is my intent to make all of you apart of my trip by sharing my journey with you.
Now the only real hard and solid fact about my trip is that I'm flying in and out Rome, Italy. It is my intent to spend 70% of my time in Italy with the remaining 30% in Austria, Switzerland, & Germany. However (as you all know)...I change my mind very frequently!
I will be couching surfing while in Europe. For those of you who don't know what that means, couch surfing is a great website that allows you to connect with people who generously offer up a couch or spare room in their home to travelers for free. As is the case with myself, you can be on the website even if you have no place to offer someone to stay. Last weekend I took two couchsurfers out to drinks with my friends. They didn't have any plans in the city and it was a great way for them to connect and check out a pretty hip place. If you have a minute, check out the site:

A few quick notes:
- I will not have cell phone in Europe.
- I will be calling my parents house very infrequently, maybe once a week.

- I do not plan on emailing anyone individually- I want to make sure I'm spending the majority of my time living it up! If your looking to hear how I'm doing, please check this blog!

I want to thank everyone for their support!!! The last few months have really shown me more than ever, how extremely blessed I am. I have a stand up family, an amazing group of friends, and great team of co-workers… all of whom are helping it possible for me to be gone for 6 weeks.

Hi TTK!! I was happy to get your new blog today. You are so funny - love it!! It sure is major boring around here without you - don't forget to come back!!! I hope all is going well with Spence - I'm glad you have his place to stay. It sounds like on the other "surfer" couch you couldn't come and go as you wanted to as you can at Spence's place.
